The Chuggin' Rhino is an idea. A bold idea that is the product of countless disappointing trips to local bars. Our mission is to have the most complete bar and restaurant in the North Rockland area. I get so frustrated with having to put on a shirt and tie and drive across the river or to NYC to have a great quality meal. I hate pretentious, stuffy dining experiences. Give me something loud, something fun, somewhere I can go casually and still receive the kind of quality dining experience that I deserve when I spend my hard earned money.
Owner John Rodriguez has put together an eclectic menu ranging from good ol' fashioned pub fare to Pacific Rim style cuisine, to Spanish and Latin influenced dishes, and back again with New American cuisine with the utmost attention to detail and presentation. He and his team "raise the bar" every day with original daily specials and homemade desserts prepared fresh daily.
